A little bit of vulnerability today as I close the chapter on NeuroFlow. It started with focused work to retain and grow a diverse portfolio of enterprise health systems and providers. Distilling the work that Milliman did on behavioral health's role in total cost of care, along with previous work in chronic disease, I guided clients on the imperative and financially sound use case for faster identification, prioritization, and effective delivery of care, and its objective assessment: are people getting better or not? I am proud of this critical work as the need is apparent and the "supply" of services is limited.

In the last year, I worked to accelerate our customers' capabilities with an amazing ecosystem of complementary partners. I vetted over 100 outside organizations and identified a core group with the expertise, commitment, and shared values to collaborate with us as referral and advisory partners. I also launched a Digital Formulary to further extend care and reduce the use of medications that leveraged the value of existing data.

I built all of this with zero staff support, only my discernment, scrappiness, and the relationships that I have developed after more than a decade in digital health. This work will be foundational to helping the team close deals faster, create new value for existing customers, and reduce human suffering, which is what really counts.

And now today, where I can be most helpful. My thesis is that it will be with early-stage efforts with novel approaches that are looking to develop scalable, sustainable reimbursement models. This is not necessarily about the technology, although technology, including AI, can be an enabler. It has to start with the goal of addressing need via human connection. As a society, we have been conditioned to neglect human connection for the sake of efficiency, and I will work to correct that.

In my work, I am only interested in getting people access to care in a timely fashion, strengthening the therapeutic alliance, and helping people get better. The professional and financial rewards will follow.

That's the framework I'll be evaluating opportunities through, either as a fractional leader or on the right team.
